Pedestrians-related accidents happening on the Trans-Zambezi Highway, particularly in Rundu and surroundings have become a cause for concern. According to the statistics by the Namibia Motor Vehicle Accident Fund 55 pedestrians were killed in the Kavango East Region over the past three years.
