Namibian President Hage Geingob and several other African leaders are meeting at Victoria falls, Zimbabwe for the African Wildlife Economy Summit. The summit is organised by the Zimbabwean Government in partnership with the African Union (AU) and the United Nations (UN). It is a new initiative to forge a new deal for tourism, rural people and wildlife by the year 2030. The discussions further include wildlife laws, future investments, conservation and human-wildlife conflict. President Geingob flew to Victoria Falls today and will return later today.
