Finance Minister Calle Schlettwein has tabled the Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority (NAMFISA) Bill that seeks to widen the powers of the institution. In his motivation, Schlettwein says the proposed legislation is too wide to include consumer education, financial stability and promotion of awareness institution.
