The President of the Environmental Assessment Professionals of Namibia (EAPAN) says the complete banning of sand mining is not a practicable solution to the issue facing the country’s northern regions. Tanaka Nyatero made this remark during a recent public discussion organised by the Namibia Scientific Society, regarding the sand mining industry in Namibia.
