The Ministry of Works and Transport says it has noted with concern the use of seven-seater vehicles, by long-distance transport companies. Deputy Minister James Sankwasa said such vehicles are unsafe for this purpose, and by law, should not be allowed to operate as such. The ministry, along with the Road Transportation Board, held a consultation meeting with operators in the Kavango West and East Regions.
