Ocean Tide, a vessel that moored at the jetty of Seaworks Fish Processors, caught fire on Saturday morning, at around 7 o clock in Walvis Bay. The cause of the fire is still unknown, though one of the 20 crew members on board, was found dead following the fire. The deceased was identified as 40-year-old Hausiku Mathews Sivambo. It is believed he became trapped inside the vessel and burned to death. His body was removed this morning. The family of the deceased were present at the scene. Police investigation is ongoing, into the cause of the fire.
