Prime Minister Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila says Namibia needs to develop a comparative advantage for its industries, and optimize access to markets and move from the upper-middle-income economy to an advanced economy. Comparative advantage refers to an economy’s ability to produce goods and services at a lower opportunity cost than that of trade partners. Prime Minister Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila expressed these sentiments at the opening of the central bank’s 20th annual symposium in Windhoek.
