Few Namibians are showing interest in visiting the //Kharas Region despite the area’s historic sites which attract visitors from all around the world. The Ministry of Environment and Tourism has introduced Namleisure cards in 2015 to promote and increase domestic tourism, However, this seemed to have made little or no positive impact on domestic tourism.
