Government has so far spent N$131 million towards drought relief efforts. The Premier, Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila revealed this figure while giving an update on the country’s drought situation in the National Assembly. Earlier on, Kuugongelwa-Amadhila also held a consultative meeting with the regional Governors and chief regional officers where she also tounced on the drought situation and other pertinent issues.
