The Councilor of the Kabbe South Constituency John Likando has expressed concern over the lack of effective measures to livestock movement saying this may hinder the control of the Foot and Mouth Disease in the flood plains of the Zambezi Region. Foot and Mouth Disease is a severe and highly contagious viral disease of cattle and swine. It also affects sheep, goats and other cloven-hooved ruminants and spreads very quickly.
