Churches in Namibia are credited for the active role they played in Namibia’s independence struggle. Since then, however, the church has been criticised for its silence on political issues. This was an observation shared at a recent inter-denominational event, titled ‘God and Politics: The Role of the Church’, held in Windhoek.
