Air Namibia cancelled its Frankfurt–Windhoek flight (SW286) on Saturday evening after one of theirAirbus A330-200 was involved in a minor accident at Frankfurt Airport, Germany. The accident happened after Air Namibia’s aircraft’s wingtip collided with an aircraft from Korean Air. Both aircraft were immediately grounded for investigation by Luftfrahrt-Bundesamt (LBA) to determine the damage. No passengers or crew were hurt. Air Namibia offered accommodation to the 244 passengers who were travelling to Windhoek. Passengers are being re-accommodated on partner airlines and Air Namibia’s next available flight.
