Thirty-two members of the Shack Dwellers Federation at Rupara village, 50 kilometres east of Nkurenkuru in the Kavango West Region, could become homeowners in 2020. Shack Dwellers, through Standard Bank’s Buy-a-Brick project, are building the houses to complement government efforts, to reduce the national housing backlog.
