The European Union (EU) has called on the Ministry of Gender Equality and Child Welfare to improve their data collection on early childhood development (ECD). Addressing the National Integrated Early Childhood Development Conference was EU ambassador to Namibia, Jana Hybaskova, who said there is need to enforce a strong data collection system in the ministry to ensure ECD targets in Namibia are met.
