President Hage Geingob has described the late Nora Schimming-Chase as a servant leader and a freedom fighter. The President says Schimming-Chase joined the likes of former Deputy-Prime Minister, Libertine Amathila and the late Pututse Appolus in the 60s in Dar es Salam, Tanzania, for Namibia’s freedom. Geingob wished the family strength during this time of bereavement. On behalf of Government, the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology says the late Schimming-Chase served her country and people with diligence and loyalty.
