Fifty houses for middle income earners will be constructed, at Okahao’s Extension-3, through a Public Private Partnership agreement. The aim is to minimise homelessness at the town. High demand for housing remains an ongoing challenge for most towns. This was acknowledged by the Minister of Urban and Rural Development, Peya Mushelenga, at a ground-breaking ceremony. Mushelenga urged local authorities to do what they can to speed up allocation of land.
