Five different chicken breeds will be auctioned at the Windhoek Namboer Auction Pens Thursday at 18h00. The breeds; Brahmas, Rhode Island Red, Sussex, Australorps and Leghorn are resilient to Namibian conditions and produce ample meat and eggs. Poultry farming has become a flourishing business as a number of chicken outlets are operating in Windhoek.
