The John Alfons Pandeni Constituency councillor donated blankets to the elderly. About 60 elderly people received blankets while those who are bedridden had theirs delivered to their homes. John Alfons Pandeni councillor, Rachel Jacob says the young people should invest in the elderly as a sign of appreciation. The blankets were bought from the Khomas Regional Council’s budget and the John Pandeni Constituency received N$16 000 worth of blankets. The value of the budget allocated to the elderly in three constituencies is N$50 000.
