The National Council has resumed business Monday since recces in December last year. The new Councillor for the Ncamagoro Constituency in the Kavango West Region, Sikondo Johannes Kahonzo was also sworn-in as a member of the National Council by Chief Justice Peter Shivute. Kahonzo replaces Rosa Kavara who died early this year. The house is expected to review three proposed laws which have been referred to the National Assembly. These are the Appropriation Bill, Micro Lending Bill as well as the Gaming and Entertainment Control Bill.
