A father, who lost his girlfriend and three-year old son during flash floods in the Ombili informal settlement nearly two months ago, finds it difficult to come to terms with his losses. Raising his son is not only an emotional experience following the tragedy but life for Shindinge Nehemia was made more difficult, with some family members of his deceased partner now allegedly contesting him for custody over the toddler.
