Village councils in the //Karas Region have turned to income generating projects to boost their coffers. Bethanie, Berseba, Aroab and Koes are engaged in livestock farming. Bethanie CEO Hendrik Goabaeb said the council also plans to start with a gardening project and poultry farming to create extra jobs especially for the youth and single mothers.
