Swapo in the National Assembly says the Government has put the necessary measures and strategies in place to combat corruption in the country and it should, therefore, be given support to carry out this mandate successfully. This follows a motion tabled by PDM member, Vipuakuje Muharukua last week, alleging that corruption is rampant in Namibia and that a Parliamentary committee be set up to look into the operations of the ACC. They argue that allegations of corruption are only based on perception without evidence.
