The Chinese Ambassador to Namibia, Zhang Yiming says Chinese donations come with no hidden agendas. Ambassador Yiming was speaking at a donation handover ceremony at Oshekasheka Combined School in the Oshana Region. He says the donations should not be portrayed as being linked to any hidden agenda and are solely meant to help meet the needs of learners. The ambassador hopes that the programme will enable the learners to do better in school. Oshana Governor, Clemence Kashuupulwa urged teachers to make sure that learners perform at their best, adding they no longer have an excuse not to excel. The 20 recipients are from Grades 8, 9 and 10, and funds cover uniforms as well as stationery during their primary education phase.
