Cuban Ambassador to Namibia, Giraldo Mazola says the late Theo-Ben Gurirab was a pillar and icon of the liberation struggle and his legacy should serve as an example and inspiration to Namibians, especially the younger generation. Mazola says he was saddened when he learnt about the death, who he says was the first Namibian he met when Gurirab served as Swapo Secretary for External Relations.
