Members of Parliament in the National Assembly have criticised sitting allowances of NAMDIA and the Namibia Diamond Trading Company (NDTC). Parliamentarians complained that board members are overpaid and were shocked when Mines and Energy Minister, Tom Alweendo, revealed the figures in the house following a question by Popular Democratic Movement’s (PDM) Jennifer van den Heever.
