The Republican Party (RP) says it will soon submit its financial statement once the auditors have finalised them. Out of 10 political parties represented in the National Assembly only six submitted their financial records for the 2016/17 financial year. RP is one of the four who failed to submit their financial statements. The Party’s President Henk Mudge said during an interview with NBC Radio Current Affairs programme, World at Six that their books are up to date and they have nothing to hide. He added that it was not clear as to whether accountants or auditors should be used to check their books which they had to enquire from the Electoral Commission.
