Four suspects appeared in the Katutura Magistrate’s Court in possession of drugs valued at N$200 000 on Monday were denied bail in the Windhoek Magistrate’s Court on Monday. Members of the Namibian Police Drug Law Enforcement raided a house in Windhoek’s upper market residential area of Kleine Kuppe and made the arrests on Friday morning. Various types of drugs, steroids, needles, a firearm, ammunition as well as a cellphone were confiscated. Police arrested a Namibian, German and two South African nationals. The suspects are Lee Douglas Surtees Jenkins, and Wesley Welgemoed both 19 years old while Verena Sazmann and Buruxa Butkus are both 30 years old.
