The Chairperson of the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission, Justice Priscilla Chigumba says the commission is investigating two presidential candidates for misconduct. Chigumba says the electoral law prohibits any person to campaign 24 hours before voting . However, she says this was not adhered to. Depending on investigations, criminal or civil charges may be laid against the two. Although Chigumba refused to name the two candidates, it is known that Nelson Chamisa of MDC Alliance held a media briefing Sunday. President Emmerson Mnangagwa also released a statement through social media late on Sunday.
