Government has reiterated its commitment to improve the status of women in society and to eradicate injustices of the past. Deputy-Director of Gender Equality and Research Victor Shipoh says Namibia being a member of the global village is bound by commitments made by the UN, AU and SADC towards achieving gender equality and the empowerment of women.
