New Era journalist Desie Heita died. Heita died after his gate fell on him Wednesday night. He started as a business reporter at the Namibia Economist. He then served as a senior reporter at New Era and promoted to editor of the paper’s Oshiwambo supplement in 2009, while also being in charge of New Era’s economics desk.
