Failure to implement the art curriculum has resulted in the subject not offered at schools. This is according to the Arts Director, Ervast Mtota, who says arts in schools is neglected. A 2018 study shows that arts industries add twice as much to the United States economy than the agriculture sector. However, it is not the same case in some parts of the world like Namibia.
