Kavango West Governor Sirkka Ausiku calls for more funds to be allocated to Government’s Dry-land Production Programme in the region. The Dryland Production Programme aims to improve production by providing subsdised seeds, fertilizers and ploughing services. Kavango West region initiated a regional programme Operation Katemo – aimed at mobilizing farmers to produce more food at household level.
