Justice Minister Sacky Shanghala is calling on the public to make electronic submissions for the review of laws on gender-based violence. Giving a Ministerial Statement in the National Assembly, Shanghala says the ministry has placed bills on its website to allow the public to review and make their submissions. Such bills include the Combating of Domestic Violence Amendment Bill, which will now allow children to testify as witnesses in domestic violence cases.
