The Swapo Party Youth League (SPYL) on Saturday launched electronic membership cards was launched at Outapi in the Omusati Region. The cards will enable SPYL to know the exact number of its members across the country. They will reduce costs and shorten administration time. The digital system shall also help in fast tracking the recruitment process of new members and improve the workflow processes and competency. The new cards will be availed to SPYL offices countrywide immediately after the launch. Officially launching the e-cards Swapo Vice-President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah says people are living in the world of globalisation which brought about the transition from analogue to digitalisation which comes with increased efficiency.
