The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) plans to inscribe the OvaHerero Holy Fire and Damara and Nama cultural dances as Intangible Cultural Heritage. The Head of UNESCO, Jean-Pierre Ilboudo revealed this during a meeting with President Hage Geingob at State House.
