Experts in human trafficking say there is a need to review the current legislation to effectively address trafficking in persons in Namibia. They made the suggestion at a public dialogue on Trafficking in Persons held in Windhoek under the theme ‘How safe are our women and children’. Project Manager of Regain Trust James Itana revealed that human trafficking cases in Namibia have gone up from 12 cases in 2015 to 21 in 2017.
