The Okahandja Swapo District made the decision to stand by its initial line-up of local authority office bearers in accordance with the party’s rules and procedures. The initial swearing in ceremony of the office bearers was frozen by magistrate Kaeprimius Swartz last week after a group of residents disrupted the proceedings, opposing the re-election of Hindjou.
