President Hage Geingob held a meeting with eleven of the 14 recently commissioned Heads of Mission, focusing on different economic sectors prioritised by government. Some of them have already left to designated countries to present their letters of credence. Shortly before addressing the diplomats individually, Geingob implored them not bring Namibia’s relations into disrepute. President Geingob reminded the diplomats of government’s decision to put emphasis on economic diplomacy. Therefore, he said, government is expecting foreign investors to come and partner with Namibians for development.
