The Minister of Health and Social Services Bernard Haufiku is unhappy about the water flowing from the sewerage system at Katima Mulilo into the hospital premises. Dr Haufiku fears that the sewer water may be a health hazard to patients. Residents of Katima Mulilo have been battling with the frequent blockage of the town’s sewerage system for years and the situation is deteriorating day by day.
