The Ministry of Education constructed 44 classrooms in the Khomas Region in 2016 to accommodate the influx of learners from different regions, at a cost of N$16,5 million. Most of the additional classrooms are at Westmont High School in Otjomuise, followed by Havana Primary School, Hillside Primary School, Olof Palme Primary School, Faith Primary School and the Tobias Hainyeko Primary and Project Schools.
