The police have reported the loss of 31 lives over the past long weekend, 22 of these were as a result of road accidents. Nampol’s Head of media relations stated that despite concerted efforts to minimize road fatalities, accidents continue to occur unabated. Chief Inspector Kauna Shikwambi has thus cautioned that unless road users change their attitude while driving, national roads will remain dangerous.
