Hompa Eugen Siwombe Kudumo of the vaKwangali tribe in the Kavango West region has called for unity among his subjects despite earlier conflict within the royal families. The vaKwangali people flocked to the traditional authority hall over the weekend, to witness the inauguration of their new Hompa, bringing to an end years of conflict.
