Small holder farmers in communal areas have been the main beneficiaries of a partnership between the United Nations Food and Agricultural Organisation – FAO – and the Namibia National Farmers’ Union- NNFU. Through multiple cooperation agreements, farmers have been trained in a number of techniques to adapt to challenges posed by climate change and ensure they produce food for the country.
