The current University of Namibia Student Representative Council member, Joseph Kalimbwe is not registered as a student for the 2017 academic year and was therefore removed from the position forthwith. Kalimbwe was part of a group of students who wanted to forcefully gain entry to a closed student cafeteria to transform it into a study area.
