The import ban on poultry and poultry products from South Africa will have a serious negative impact not only on the local poultry industry but on Namibia’s economy too. Chairperson of the Poultry Producers Association Rene Werner warns that if the suspension goes on for 21 days, it will lead to reduced availability of eggs and broilers in the country.
