The majority of Namibians are in support of the Namibian Time Bill and requested that it becomes law. The bill will repeal the Namibian Time Act which provides for two time zones for the country – namely winter and summer time. The National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Security tabled its report on the Namibian Time Bill after conducting nation wide public hearings.
