Residents at Groot-Berg settlement, in the Kunene Region’s Kamanjab area, are demanding the immediate relocation of lions found in their area. They have given the Ministry of Environement and the Africat Foundation 14 working days to respond. Residents took to the streets demanding that the Ministry of Environment and Tourism relocate the lions immediately. They said although the Etosha National Park fence is being fixed, the problem lies more with the damaged fence of Hobatere Concession and Africat Foundation.
