Eleven orphans from the Omatelekelo Combined School in the Omusati region have received uniforms from a business entrepreneur. The learners received shirts, skirts, trousers and school shoes, while one orphan also received an additional bag for exceptional performing. Owner of Sepo Trading, Josef Kashipu, who built five pit latrine toilets at the school, said he was just fulfilling his social responsibility. Kashipu pledged to continue supplying school uniforms to the best learner at the school. Ogongo Constituency Councillor, Willem Iyambo, appealed to management to improve teaching and learning. He also appealed to parents to ensure that their children were well-fed before going to school. The school has 91 learners from pre-school to Grade Four.
