Local churches have been urged to desist the temptation of commercializing their operations. According to the Association of Charismatic and Pentecostal Churches of Namibia, such actions are tarnishing the image of the church. Pastors, apostles and prophets from Pentecostal churches across Namibia held a meeting at Swakopmund to discuss issues regarding bogus churches.
