Hundreds of Windhoek residents flocked to the City of Windhoek Offices to apply for land. This follows an advert issued by the city for the residents to apply for serviced 96 plots in Otjomuise Extension Five. Each plot costs between 170 to 470 000 dollars and will be open for sale until the 25th of this month. Some of the residents, who lined up in chaotic queues at the offices, expressed their dissatisfaction about the way in which the council was selling the plots.
